What Our Visitors Say About Us

Wilderness Air - Fly-In Fishing TripsI just wanted to thank you for a "Great" and successful fishing trip to Wasa Lake. This was the first fly in experience for myself and 3 others in the group. Everyone had blast fishing and spending time at the cabin. The weather for the most part was great. The pilots that we had were all very nice and liked to joke around which made the trip even better. We could not have asked for anything else. It will be a trip that will go down in the record books!!!!

M. Oliver - Wasa Lake

Just wanted to drop a line to thank you and your staff for a wonderful vacation. I was with the Dye group last week and had a wonderful trip. You and your staff went above and beyond my expectations of service, thank you, thank you. From the motel reservations, grocery shopping for us and getting us in a day early for a minimal fee. Pilots checking in and even bringing ice and towels to us. I cannot thank you enough for the service you provided to us. We even had a pilot cut the grass!!! The cabin was first class, the generator and trolling motors were exceptional. Again, I thank you for everything. This is my fourth fishing trip to Canada and this is the best outfitter and service I have ever received. I am looking forward to my return to Wilderness Air and Campfire Lake next year.

It is not very often that I receive exceptional customer service and wanted you to be aware of how great your service and the service the entire staff at Wilderness Air provided. First class all the way. Thank you for everything Kelsey and thanks to all the staff for making this dream vacation come true. I think about Campfire every day since I have been back home in the states and miss it so much!!! Thanks again.

Almost forgot the best part...the FISHING WAS AWESOME!!!

J. Markham - Campfire Lake

Wilderness Air - Fly-In Fishing TripsI just wanted to say what a great experience I had a Campfire lake. The facilities were excellent and the fishing was great. We caught well over 100 fish a day and the smallmouth fishing was fantastic. I would suggest smoke coloured tube jigs and a little crawfish scent didn't hurt. Herb was a top notch pilot and a real pleasure. Bob keep up the good work and we'll see you again next year.

B. Hurl - Campfire Lake

Just wanted to let you know how enjoyable our stay at Solitary Lake was. Your staff was great and your pilots are second to none. The fishing was great as we caught two northerns over 38" and twelve walleyes over 17". Hope to be back next year to try it again.

K. & T. Johnson - Solitary Lake

Fishing was awesome, shorelunch was tasty. Sauna was amazing. Swimming was grand. Flyovers were the best. Canoeing and portage were a delight. TRIP OF A LIFTEIME. We cannot express how grateful we all are to have been able to share this experience. Bringing families together like this is an awesome gift to give. May God bless you for your consideration and generosity.

Beechlers & Jennisons - Devlin Lake

Fishing: Caught a "whole lotta bunch." Caught lots of 2-4 lbs bass, caught lots of walleye – not too big but mighty tasty, caught way too many of them. Damn Pike's Accomodations: Excellent!!! Wilderness Air has provided the best service that we have experienced - we have used 3 different outfitters and by far Wilderness Air is superior to all.

Georgia "Men" - Campfire Lake

Solitary LakeI can think of nothing better to do than be in God's beautiful wilderness with my husband and son. Aside from almost campsizing during some intense wind (and the motor handle set free), we had an incredible week. We caught 23 – 3# lake trout and my son had "Walter" on at one point. He couldn't budge him from the depths of 60'. "Walter" then swam to shallower waters where he retreated into the rocks. Suddenly the fight was over and "Walter" swam to freedom. We caught tons of Northern while fishing for Musky. My husband caught a 41” Musky with a tremendous girth.

We enjoyed feeding the sea gull. You'll notice a scout seagull who usually stands on top of the sauna. He tells all of his friends when you're back from fishing so they can devour the fish guts on the rock across the lake. There are 3 beavers in our bay that are fun to watch. The outhouse is the only downside of this. It's pretty eerie tucked away in the woods. Love the solitude and the gorgeous moon at night. We'll be back!

T., C. & J. Stockstrom - Confusion Lake

Thanks for the perfect trip to NW Ontario this past September. The weather, Northern Lights, Fall tree color, and the great fishing added up to one fabulous trip. The cabin, equipment and plane flights all went or worked smoothly. Cheri caught the largest pike at 20 1/2 pounds and I lucked out at 8 1/2 pounds with the largest Walleye. We're looking forward to next September and being back up North. Thanks again for running one of the finest outpost camp operations in Canada. Wilderness Air is one of the best!
