Crooked Lake Outpost Cabin

Fly in to this secluded and winding 15-mile lake that has many river tributaries and find amazing smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye action!

Wilderness Air’s Crooked Lake outpost has two cabins (a cook cabin and a sleeping cabin) that are nestled among birch, poplar and pine trees, just up from a sandy beach. The sleeping cabin offers beautiful views of the lake, and sleeps six. The cook cabin is a historic trapper's cabin originally built in 1954. Completely unique, it has been completely restored, but still retains a true pioneer charm.

Anglers love Crooked Lake!

There are some significant currents at several places where the lake 'narrow necks' down which results in great walleye fishing, you will also find amazing smallmouth bass, and northern pike fishing along with the occasional lake trout!

Both cabins are equipped with solar lights, the cook cabin and shower house have hot and cold running water. There are three boats at this location with 9.9 and 15hp Yamaha outboards.
