A true angler's delight! We don't have to say a word about this outpost lake and cabin, we'll let our guests do it for us: "We were hoping the guys at Wilderness Air would forget about us and leave us at the lake!", "The fishing was great, as usual!" and "best vacation to take...just what the doctor ordered!"

A number of weedy bays, combined with varying shorelines - both rocky and sandy- make this 540-acre lake a perfect location for huge walleye and trophy northern pike. Some of the other characteristics of this fly-in fishing lake include several small islands, lots of rock structure and a maximum depth of 30 feet.

The wildlife is plentiful, so keep your camera handy, as you are likely to spot moose, deer, birds, wolves and even caribou! As Pilot Lake is a catch and release lake, you can fish for fun and shoreline lunches.

Tucked away among the majestic pine is this wooden cabin that is attractive, clean and modern. It sleeps up to eight people and equipped with hot and cold showers as well as a sauna bath.
