Blueberry Cake & More

Do you believe it, September already and it doesn't seem like we had summer yet. The blueberries are still in abudance and very ripe. This is definitely late for them.

We are getting closer every day to having our new website done.

We had Fish'N Canada at Pilot Lake last week shooting a tv show. They told us they got some great footage of a 14 lb Northern holding onto their walleye - they got both fish in the boat. Can't wait to see that. We will post the dates and times the show will be aired in Canada and the US.

For those of you who are looking for an easy Blueberry recipe - here is one that was given to us (a recipe contest winner). This is my kind of recipe.

Blueberry Dump Cake

1. Lg can crushed pineapple
2. 3 cups whole blueberries
3. 3/4 c. sugar
4. 1 box yellow cake mix - dry
5. 1/2 c. melted butter
6. 1 c. pecans (optional)
7. 1/4 c. sugar

Layer seven ingredients in order listed above in a 9x13 pan. Bake 1 hour @ 350 degrees. Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (or eat it plain).
